In May 2008, the 50-track double CD I Believe In Music: The History Of The Gross Prophet will be released. The Gross Prophet was the official band of Redlands, California from 1970 to 1994, and featured members of The Tornadoes, The Truants, The Genteels and Never So Few among others. This enormous collection contains all those bands, 23 unreleased Gross Prophet tracks and prime recordings by The Insects (featuring guitar maker Wayne Charvel), The Light, Bob Summerour, Gerald Sanders, Rubicon, Jon & The Nightriders, Mike Methane And The Blue Flames and Roy Swedeen. Great news: Crossfire releases purchased from this site can be purchased for $10 plus shipping (doubles such as the forthcoming I Believe In Music! are $20). We can afford it so you can afford it! (The only CD that is not eligible for this pricing is the non-Crossfire release From Rock 'n' Roll To R&B CD.) The Paul Buff series of Pal Studios recordings will debut later in 2008. There are seven unreleased tracks with Frank Zappa among the 200+ recordings in the series. Each volume of the series will contain one unreleased Zappa track as well as a few other extremely rare FZ recordings. This series will also include the Original Sound recordings that Paul Buff made on his own and in conjunction with Frank Zappa.
